I wanted to do another Mapplethorpe-style nude figure study.

Dion texture by Daio
This is DAZ 3D's Michael figure, times four. The textures are Dion by Daio on, from front to back, a bluish base, a yellowish base, a purplish base, and a reddish base.
This scene uses four lights, only two of which are shadow-casting. There is a yellowish light coming from the back (the figures' front), and a raking light from the far right.
This is the first image where I experimented with compositing
renders with and without textures, in various modes. I find this gives
the skin textures more realistic depth and tonal variation. The formula
used here (and pre-mix samples) can be found
here.
The hair is somewhat fluffed up, and the hip area is
blurred to get rid of the crinkle.
