The Idea:

I wanted to do a two-tier models-in-studio deal with standing and kneeling figures.  This isn't quite what I had in mind, but....

Tools:

     Poser 4, Photoshop 4

cloth backdrop by  me, available at my Poser goodie page
Arising pose from Pixel

Figures:

Michael with yellowish skin (left) and Michael with regular skin (right).  Conform curls as hair prop, and Men's Hair 1.  I tried Anton's new skin highlight technique... of using dark brown highlight colours and very large highlight percentage.  I don't know if this technique is only good for female figures, or if I'm using the wrong tone of brown or what, but it seems to make my male figures look a bit dingy. :/

Two shadow-casting spotlights:  a warm toned one from the right, shining on the standing figure, and a cool-toned one from the front lower left, shining on the kneeling figure.  There's a non-shadow casting infinite light somewhere up above for ambient lighting.

     Hair-brushing and hip-smearing in post.
