Bloodsong's El-Fish
The Next Generation

Welcome to the revival of my El-Fish obsession!  Since we are now in the modern era of year 134, I have eschewed the traditional offering of ROE files.  Instead, click on the fish picture to download a zip file that contains the fully animated FSH.  Fish in groups are grouped into one zip, so click on any picture in the set to get all the fish of the set in one zip.
     Enjoy!

Fan Dancer 1:

A mutant with really huge pectoral fins, like the big fans fan-dancers use.  If I were designing this fish, it would look a little more elegant.  Maybe I'll get big fan-fins again someday.

Cyber-Bold:

Distant cousin to the Cyberpunk, Punk is Now and that crew.  A boldly-patterned fish in cybernetic red, yellow, and purple.  This is a spin-off of the Yellow Submarine breeding project.

Flyers:

Dart (or sloop, like my Purple Sloop) shaped fish, with raised pectoral fins, as if they are trying to fly.  These are small fish.
The black variant is black, of course!
This Flyer is in shades of cool colours: blue and purple.
The Pixel Flyer is similar to the Cool variant, but with a grid of red dots, and spectrumized fins.

Dartmouths:

Yet another dart-shaped fish.  Got tired of having darts and darters, so I called them Dartmouths.  As in, the college.  Or something.
Oh, look!  The same dorsal fin colouration as the Chevron!  It isn't angled like a real chevron, but in honor of that, this is the Chevron Dartmouth.
Striped green Dartmouth.  Which is mainly green, with a red stripe.  Also vertical green stripes on the violet face.
Dartmouths are actually rather large fish, and very graceful the tank.  Though I think they get more propulsion from those huge dorsal and ventral fins going back and forth than they do from those tiny tail fins.
Neon Darthmouth.  Very dark violet with a glowingly bright green stripe, and also the chevron(ish) dorsal fin.  Nice and contrasty!

Hypodermic Hallucination:

Some days you just gotta quit breeding yellow fish with blue spots and toss out some extreme mutants.  But then you go, "Whoa, COOL, lookit THAT one!" and have to save them.
Anyway, who could resist a needle-nosed hypodermic-looking thing.  And I know "hallucination" doesn't begin with "halo."  But it looked good.

Longhead:

A little mutant fish with a big, long head.  As big as it's body, even!

Parrotfish:

Not to be confused with a real parrotfish...  This guy just looks like a green macaw stuffed into a fish's body, with a single feather sticking up on his head.

Uptown #2:

It looks so much like my Uptown fish... why did I have to keep it?  Well, this one has bigger hind fins!

Flyties:

Fly fishing: the sport where constructing the lure is more important than actually catching fish...!  Okay, maybe not.  Anyway, these two mutants don't look like real fish, but more like those little fly-tied lures.
This one even has a longer head than the longhead.  Come on, you can't tell me that's not green thread tying the tail on!

Unicorn Fish:

Fish with big long horns pointing off the front of their heads.  Well, not real horns, just fins.  Otherwise, rather unremarkable fish, although they have nice thick bodies.
This is the Opal Unicorn.  Well, Bloodsong's Unicorn Fish; other people have their own Unicorn fish breeds.
   Orange Unicorn Fish (Bloodsong's Breed).
Red Unicorn Fish (Bloodsong's Breed).   Nice contrasting blue pectorals, and a violet bar on the head to break up the plain colour.
Violet Unicorn Fish (Bloodsong's Breed).   With some subtle coin markings on the head.

   This is just my template.
