Er... Lyrra wanted a closeup of Silk's face. Yeah, well, it doesn't take much to trigger my visual imagination!

Well, I wanted him crouched down and leaning forward,
so... I did that. I dunno, posing really isn't all that difficult.
Except the details!
I worked with the Michael facial morphs to give him that
expression. I wanted it to be subtle, but I think it came out a bit
more subtle than I had planned, due to the golden light coming from his hand.
It washes out a lot of shadows that would have otherwise been visible.
This is a quickie scene with one terrain (with my newest moss material on it), and a bunch of really big ferns. Two bunches, I think, to fill in the empty spots between the fronds.
The glowing thing is a sphere, of course. It has that silly coloured egg material on it, well, the coloured part, anyhow. I also snagged that material for the gel on the point light inside the sphere. The sphere's material is transparent, additive, luminous, and colour-transmitting -- just about everything but glowing. That flare is the Vue 4 lens flare, tweaked to that configuration.
I also worked on Silk's iris material, to make it a slightly glowing magical magenta colour.
The shadows from the Wave Hair came out gridded again; I don't know why. But I spent a lot of blending trying to erradicate that mess. Smoothed the shadow edges and such. Oh, and fixed the crease at the armpit.
